St Simon Island to Walburg Island Anchorage

We departed St Simon Island Georgia on Wednesday April 23rd at about 8:30 AM. We arrive at Walburg Island Anchorage at about 2:30 PM. After a bit of searching, we found a good place to anchor at the bend in the channel.


We ran the generator for the first time to power the air conditioners. The air conditioners kept the boat cool, kept the bugs at bay, and helped us sleep better.


We enjoyed a peaceful first night at anchor.
