Jekyll Island GA to St Simon Island GA

We departed Jekyll Island Georgia on Tuesday April 22 at 12:30 PM for the short trip to St Simon Island Georgia. We arrive at St Simon Island shortly after 2:00 PM.

While there, we took an Uber to the West Marina to pick up three new 35 foot long dock lines. We also stopped at a Winn-Dixie supermarket to purchase food. When possible, we shop at Publix supermarkets. Publix has an excellent bakery and deli. I am found of their fruit at the bottom yogurt.

In the evening we walked to a restaurant for dinner. The walk was challenging. There were few sidewalks. Instead we walked foot paths beside the road. There were few cross walks. We darted across the road in a game of "Frogger". We stopped at a CVS and Wells Fargo branch along the way. I purchased dental floss at CVS and Paul purchased sunscreen. I got cash to tip the marina dockhands at Wells Fargo. We ate dinner at Sea Salt Healthy Kitchen. Paul really enjoyed the Butternut Squash soup. He said it was the best he had ever tasted. We took an Uber back to the marina to avoid the return walk.
