It is so beautiful here that we decided to stay for another day.

In the morning and early afternoon a grizzly bear was feeding on the beach. He used his claws to dig mollusks along the water's edge. He appeared fairly young and was rather thin.

In the early evening we went to pond being feed by the natural hot springs. Someone had created a pond that was about 12 feet square. It was formed of enormous rocks and concrete. It was about four feet deep. Water from the natural hot spring entered at one end and the excess water over flowed out at the other. You regulate the temperature using a stick jammed into a pipe that controls the amount of hot water entering the pond. The 100 degree water felt wonderful.
